REET 2024 application correction ends today; exam on February 27

New Delhi: The Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan will close the Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers (REET) 2024 application correction process today, January 19. Candidates can make changes to the REET application form through the official website of the board at rajeduboard.rajasthan.gov.in. The REET application form correction fee is Rs 200.

In the REET application correction process, candidates cannot make changes to their name, date of birth, mobile number, father’s name, mother’s name, exam level and exam centre. Those who selected test centres in the 9 districts cancelled by the state government can change their test centre preference.

REET 2024 Application: Steps to make corrections

The below-mentioned steps can be followed to make corrections in the form-

  • Step 1: Candidates first need to visit the official website of the board rajeduboard.rajasthan.gov.in
  • Step 2: Then on the home page, click on the REET 2024 link.
  • Step 3: On the page that appears click on application form correction.
  • Step 4: Make the necessary changes and pay the fee.
  • Step 5: Once done, check the details and then download the confirmation page.
  • Step 6: Take the printout of the page for reference.

As per the REET schedule, the exam will be conducted on February 27. REET will be held in two shifts- shift 1 is from 10 AM to 12.30 PM and shift 2 from 3 PM to 5.30 PM. REET paper 1 exam is for the recruitment of teachers in Class 1 to Class 5 and paper 2 is for the recruitment of teachers in Class 6 to Class 8.

To qualify REET, the general category candidates need to score a minimum of 60 per cent marks, while the Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) category candidates need to score 36 per cent marks. Those who qualify the exam will get an eligibility certificate and they can apply to government schools or private schools in the state of Rajasthan.
