Change in release date of Yash’s film ‘Toxic’
New Delhi. There was an atmosphere of excitement among the fans about Rocking Star Yash’s much awaited film ‘Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown Ups’. Recently, on the occasion of Holi, an important update regarding the film has come out, which has disappointed the audience. Actually, the release date of the film has been postponed. This decision has been taken in view of the tension arising in the Middle East due to recent incidents between America and Israel.
When will the film be released now?
‘Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown Ups’ was earlier scheduled to release on March 19 and was scheduled to compete with Ranveer Singh’s film ‘Dhurandhar 2’. There was huge enthusiasm among the fans for this. However, now the release of this film has been postponed till June. Announcing its new release date, the makers said that the film will now be released in theaters on June 4, 2026.
Yash’s official statement
Yash shared this information through a post on his social media. He wrote, “‘Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown Ups’ was created with the spirit of creating cinema for a global audience. Shot in Kannada and English, the film is trying to reach out to audiences across countries. After years of hard work, we were eager to bring the film to audiences on March 19, but recent uncertainties have impacted our goal.”
Dhurandhar 2 is getting benefit
Ranveer Singh’s ‘Dhurandhar 2’ will benefit from the change in the release date of Toxic. Earlier there was talk of simultaneous release of these two films, but now there will be no clash. This will give the audience an opportunity to focus more on ‘Dhurandhar 2’.
Cast and story of the film ‘Toxic’
In this film, along with Yash, leading actresses like Kiara Adnani, Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Rukmini Vasant and Tara Sutaria will be seen in important roles. The story of the film has been written by Yash himself while it has been directed by Geetu Mohandas.
