Karisma Kapoor’s children get relief from Delhi High Court, interim ban on Sanjay Kapoor’s property

Delhi High Court in Delhi has issued an important interim order while hearing the petition filed by the children of film actress Karisma Kapoor. The court has currently barred his second wife Priya Kapoor from making any kind of transaction or transfer in the case related to the property of late businessman Sanjay Kapoor. The bench of Justice Jyoti Singh said in its order that the trial of the case may take a long time, in such a situation security of property is necessary. Therefore, Sanjay Kapoor’s bank accounts and his cryptocurrency holdings abroad have been directed to be kept inactive for now.

The court said that in the case related to Sanjay Kapoor’s property, it has been clearly stated that the entire property should be preserved, so that there cannot be any change in its status till the final decision is taken. The court also directed that the respondent (Priya Kapoor) will have to respond to all the objections and concerns raised by the petitioners (on behalf of the children of Karisma Kapoor).

This order has been given by the Delhi High Court on the interim petition which was filed on behalf of Karisma Kapoor’s children. In the petition, the children had sought immediate protection in the dispute related to the property of late businessman Sanjay Kapoor. He said that the possibility of any kind of tampering or transfer of property should be prevented till the case is settled. The petitioners have also challenged the alleged will and have expressed apprehension that the property may be tampered with or changed, which may affect their rights.
