Remo D'Souza's wife dismisses reports of death threats

Mumbai Mumbai. Choreographer Remo D'Souza was in the news on Thursday after reports emerged that he had received a death threat through an email from Pakistan. However, his wife Liesel has now rubbished the reports and said that what she received was spam mail and not a threat mail. Responding to reports of receiving threats from Pakistan, Liezel told Hindustan Times, “No, it is a lie. We have also read it (in the media).

We received spam emails on the company email ID about something else, about which we informed the police. The cyber department is investigating it and they also feel it is spam.” He further said that there is nothing to worry about, “I don't know why it is being linked to this (death threat). Maybe the media has misinterpreted it. It could have happened to someone else and they might have linked it to others.” On Thursday, reports claimed that several celebs including Remo, comedian Kapil Sharma, actor Rajpal Yadav, comedian Sugandha Mishra and others have received threats from Pakistan. Filled e-mails were received, warning of serious consequences if the demands were not met.
