What is shown in the teaser? First look at the design

The teaser released by Renault gives a glimpse of the rear of the SUV. This clearly indicates that the new Duster will have a more modern and bold design. The teaser shows connected taillamps, which make it slightly different from the international model. LED DRLs and high roof rails are also visible. Overall, the new Duster will look more premium and futuristic while retaining its strong DNA.

A big update in features

New Renault Duster is expected to get a big change in terms of features. It will have a completely new dashboard design. The SUV is expected to feature a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support. Features like 7-inch digital driver’s display, wireless phone charger, 6-speaker Arcamis sound system, power driver’s seat and panoramic sunroof are also expected. Features like ventilated front seats, ambient lighting, keyless entry and cruise control will further enhance its premium feel.

What will the security be like?

The new Duster is expected to fully meet the current safety standards. Six airbags are expected to be standard across all variants. Advanced safety features like electronic stability control, 360-degree camera, tire pressure monitoring system, ISOFIX child seat mounts and ADAS are also expected. This will make the Duster more reliable as a family SUV.

Engines, Price and Competition

Official information about the engine options of the new Renault Duster in India is yet to be revealed. However, the car is expected to be available with petrol engine options. Prices are expected to start around ₹10 lakh (ex-showroom). After launch, it will compete with SUVs like Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Grand Vitara, Maruti Victoris, Volkswagen Taigun, Skoda Kushaq and Honda Elevate.
