For the first time, the Cardiology Institute has studied the details of 1500 patients who came to the hospital with symptoms of heart attack. Director of Cardiology Professor Rakesh Kumar Verma says that when angiography is done for the first time in patients coming with symptoms of heart attack, blockages in all three arteries are found. Get it. There is a possibility of open heart surgery. In the study, the blockage status of new patients was matched with that of patients who came 10-15 years ago.

Senior Cardiologist Dr. Awadhesh Kumar Sharma said that 15-20 years ago, 55 to 75 year old heart attack patients have been coming more frequently. There was blockage in his arteries. Among these, the highest number of patients were in the age group of 60 to 65 years, but now the situation has changed. Now more patients in the age group of 35 to 55 years are coming. Among these, the number of patients in the age group of 40 to 45 years is more. Their blockage is of complex type. He told that the research of American College of Cardiology has also said that Indians are getting heart diseases 15-20 years earlier than the people of Europe. The age at which heart disease occurs has been reduced by 15-20 years.
