Retinol Dosa: Everyone's skin often becomes dry and dull in winter, which is due to dry and cold air, lack of water in the body, and other seasonal changes. Due to this the glow of the skin reduces. In such a situation, there is a need for proper diet and beauty routine, which can nourish the skin from within and keep it glowing. Health expert Aina Singla has shared the recipe of an excellent Retinol Dosa, which is not only beneficial for your skin but is also beneficial for your health.

The best part is that all the ingredients used in this dosa are natural and will nourish the skin from within as well as keep the body healthy.

  • Masoor dal – 1/2 cup
  • Oats – 2 spoons
  • Beetroot – half piece
  • Ginger – 1 inch
  • Green chilli – 1
  • Coriander – 1/2 cup
  • Cumin powder – 1/2 tsp
  • Turmeric – 1/2 tsp
  • salt to taste
  • Water – as per requirement
  • Oil or ghee – for applying on the pan
  1. First of all, leave the lentils to soak in water overnight. After soaking the dal thoroughly, drain it from the water and prepare a smooth paste.
  2. Now add oats, beetroot, ginger, green chilli and coriander to this paste and grind it well. Beetroot contains antioxidants which make the skin glow from within.
  3. Add cumin powder, turmeric and salt to this mixture. Now prepare the batter by adding some water to it, so that it can spread easily on the pan.
  4. Heat the pan and apply some oil or ghee on it. Now pour the prepared batter on the pan and spread it. Cook the dosa till it turns golden on one side, then turn it and cook it on the other side also.
  5. Your hot retinol dosa is ready! Serve it with curd or green chutney.

This dosa is great for your skin as it contains many nutrients which help in improving the skin from within. Masoor dal is rich in protein and iron, which nourishes the skin and helps in glowing it.
