'Will take revenge of Pilibhit in Mahakumbh', Pannu challenges Yogi on encounter of Khalistani terrorists

New Delhi: Enraged by the encounter of three terrorists of Khalistan Zindabad Force (KZF) in Pilibhit, UP, Sikhs for Justice (SFJ) has threatened to take revenge in the Mahakumbh. SFJ General Counsel Gurpatwant Singh Pannu has posted a video on Facebook, holding the Prime Minister and the Chief Ministers of UP and Punjab responsible for this and threatening to teach them a lesson. Taking cognizance of the video, a report has been registered and investigation has been started. At the same time, post-mortem of the bodies of the three terrorists was also conducted on Tuesday.

To get to the bottom of the case, NIA and ATS have camped in Pilibhit. On Monday morning, Pilibhit Police and Punjab Police, in a joint action, killed three Khalistani terrorists Gurvinder, Virendra Singh alias Ravi and Jaspreet alias Pratap Singh of Gurdaspur district of Punjab in an encounter. On Tuesday, 24 hours after the encounter, pro-Khalistan terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannu shared a threatening video on social media platform X. In this, the three Khalistani terrorists killed in the encounter have been declared innocent and a threat has been made to take revenge in Prayagraj Mahakumbh.

Will give compensation to the families of terrorists

Pannu has also said to give Rs 5 lakh each to the families of the three terrorists. Terrorist Pannu has also threatened to teach a lesson by using abusive words against Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, talking about taking revenge in Mahakumbh on 14, 29 January and 3 February. A case has been registered in the cyber police station by the social media cell of Pilibhit police under other sections including the IT Act.

Post mortem under camera surveillance

On Tuesday, post-mortem of the bodies of the three terrorists was conducted under police supervision. The panel of doctors conducted the post-mortem amidst videography, which continued till the evening. The family members of the three terrorists also reached Pilibhit on Tuesday afternoon. The family members said that they had no knowledge of these three being involved in any crime. NIA and ATS camped in Pilibhit After the encounter of the three terrorists, the NIA and ATS team has camped in Pilibhit since Monday evening. Teams are gathering information about the sleeping modules that help these terrorists.

Investigation so far has revealed that the three terrorists had reached Puranpur from Punjab in a private bus. It has also come to light that he has a relative in Lakhimpur. Teams are also investigating on all these points. Pilibhit SP Avinash Pandey said that a case has been registered and investigation is being done in connection with Pannu's video going viral. Efforts are being made to find out from where the said account is being operated. Besides, those who made this post viral are also being traced. Investigation is going on on all other points also.
