Review of Jaipur development works, CM Bhajanlal Sharma gave instructions for timely completion

With the aim of accelerating the overall development of Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan, Chief Minister Shri Bhajan Lal Sharma organized an important review meeting at the Chief Minister’s Office today. In this meeting, a detailed assessment of the progress of the city’s development works, smooth traffic management and various under-construction projects was made. Senior officials of the concerned departments were present in the meeting.

Giving clear instructions to the officials during the meeting, the Chief Minister said that all the ongoing development works in Jaipur should be completed within the stipulated time. He stressed that any unnecessary delay in the projects will not be tolerated. He also instructed the officers to do regular monitoring and maintain the quality of the works.

CM Bhajanlal Sharma said that Jaipur is a rapidly developing city and in view of its increasing population and traffic pressure, creation of well-organized and modern infrastructure is extremely necessary. He said that the main objective of the government is to ensure that the traffic on the roads of Jaipur is smooth and the time of common citizens is saved.

Plans related to major road projects, flyovers, underpasses, traffic management systems and other infrastructure of the city were reviewed in the meeting. The Chief Minister took information from the officials about the current status of these projects and gave instructions to bring improvements wherever slow pace of work was found.

He especially showed seriousness regarding traffic management and said that effective measures should be taken to reduce the problem of traffic jam in the city. For this, emphasis was also laid on increasing the use of modern technology and smart traffic system. He also said that special care should be taken to ensure minimum inconvenience to the general public during the construction works.

The Chief Minister also directed the officials to regularly review all the projects and inform the public about their progress from time to time. Emphasis was also laid on maintaining better coordination between departments to ensure transparency and accountability.

He said that the development of the capital Jaipur is extremely important to achieve the goal of “Developed Rajasthan”. If the infrastructure in Jaipur is strong, it will have a positive impact on the development of the entire state.

At the end of the meeting, the Chief Minister expressed confidence that all the officers will work with full responsibility and commitment and will contribute in making Jaipur a modern, well-organized and better city.
