Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate Rewa Airport, Vindhya will get a new flight

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the newly constructed Rewa Airport through virtual medium from Banaras on Sunday. After Bhopal, Jabalpur, Khajuraho, Indore and Gwalior, Rewa will be the sixth airport in the state to get license from DGCA. More than 65 lakh people of the state will benefit from the opening of Rewa Airport. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given many unique gifts to the country as well as Madhya Pradesh. In continuation of this development, the Prime Minister is going to gift an airport to the Vindhya region.

Districts connected to Rewa will benefit directly

Mauganj, Sidhi, Satna and Maihar districts are directly connected to Rewa. Along with these districts, people from the borders of Uttar Pradesh and Chhattisgarh also come to Rewa for their work. The population of Rewa is around 15 lakh, Mauganj is 8 lakh, Sidhi is 12 lakh, Singrauli is 12 lakh and Satna district is 18 lakh. All of them will get direct benefits from the airport. Rewa Airport has been built under the government’s UDAN (Ude Desh ka Aam Nagrik) scheme. This airport has been designed keeping in mind the needs of the next 50 years.

Vindhya Udaan will get golden wings

Deputy Chief Minister Rajendra Shukla said that when Prime Minister Modi had said that “the day is not far when ‘people wearing slippers’ of the country will also fly in airplanes,” the opposition had called it just a slogan. Such people should come to Rewa today and see how this dream is becoming reality. The Prime Minister is going to inaugurate the long awaited Rewa Airport, which will give golden wings to the flight of Vindhya.

Preparations for regional industrial conference

After the inauguration of the airport, the Chief Minister will communicate with the industrialists of Rewa and Shahdol divisions about the regional industrial conference to be held on October 23. Industrialists from Rewa will participate in this dialogue on the spot, while industrialists from other districts will join through video conferencing.
