Iran refuses to hold any peace talks with America, says current war is the result of its deception

New Delhi. Amidst the ongoing war in West Asia, Iran has made it clear that no peace talks are going on with America. This statement of Iranian Ambassador to Pakistan Reza Amiri Moghadam further complicated the situation when US President Donald Trump had claimed that talks were going on between the two countries and the war could end soon. It is clear from Iran’s tough stance that the situation is still far from normal.

The Iranian Ambassador said that no talks are taking place between Washington and Tehran. He also said that the current war is the result of America’s deceit. That is, the earlier efforts for dialogue were broken by America and now the situation has reached the point of war. On the other hand, Israel has also denied knowledge of any peace talks and has clearly said that military action will continue.

Are peace talks really going on?

Iran’s statement directly rejected Trump’s claim. Trump had said that talks are going on and Iran wants to make a deal. But Iran clearly said that no such talks are taking place. From this it has become clear that the statements of both the sides are different and the ground reality is still one of conflict.

What is Israel’s stance?

Israel’s Ambassador to the United Nations, Danny Danon, said he was not aware of any talks. Israel’s goal is clear that Iran cannot acquire nuclear capability. He said that Israel and America are jointly attacking Iran’s military bases. This campaign will continue. Israel claims that it has weakened Iran significantly and pressure will be maintained in future also.

Trump claimed that Iran’s military power is almost destroyed and American planes are flying over Tehran. He said that Iran has become completely weak. On the other hand, Iran is also continuously retaliating and has launched attacks in several phases so far. There is currently no possibility of peace in West Asia between Israel’s attack and Iran’s retaliation.
