Rishabh Pant hits huge 107m six in Bengaluru Test, leaves NZ players stunned – WATCH

New Delhi: Rishabh Pant was batting on 90 when he smashed a monstrous six out of the park in the ongoing Test match against New Zealand on Day 4. Pant was batting furiously in the Test match. He scored his half-century in just 54 balls and completed his half-century with a boundary,

After the second new ball came, Pant and Sarfaraz Khan had difficulties handling it. The Kiwi’s bowler checked Pant’s patience with the new ball. After 24 balls, Pant shifted his gear and Tim Southee was bowling from the other end.

Southee bowled the first ball outside the leg stump. Pant tried to glance at it but failed to do so. Nor Kiwi wicket-keeper Tom Blundell grabbed it. Southee bowled the second bowl short of length which Pant defended it.

Southee came round the stump in the third bowl, Pant smocked the bowl out of the stadium. Pant was batting in his 90s, but he played the shot ferociously. Pant went on his one knee and slog-swept it over square leg with a 107-m six. After the audacious six from Pant, New Zealand players were left stunned in Bengaluru. Glenn Philips and Daryl Mitchell were seen giving an expressive look after the smocking 107-m six.

Rishabh Pant missed out on record-breaking 7th ton

Rishabh Pant was dismissed on an unlucky 99. It was the seventh instance when Pant was dismissed in the nervous 90s. William ORourke bowled Pant in the 89th over. Pant dragged the bowl in the stumps and nearly missed out on his seventh century breaking MS Dhoni’s six tons in Test cricket.

The wicket of Pant silenced the Bengaluru crowd, and KL Rahul was shocked after seeing Pant out on 99. India are on 438/6 in the second innings before the Tea break. Rahul was dismissed before the Tea and Men in Blue are now leading by 82 runs in the second innings.
