Gambhir has said that Pant has recovered from the injury and is completely ready to play in the second Test. the ball hit my knee
While wicket-keeping in the Bangalore Test, Rishabh Pant got injured in the same knee which was operated on. Jadeja's ball hit Pant's knee due to which his knee became swollen and he had to give up wicketkeeping. Dhruv Jurel did wicketkeeping in the match after Pant got injured.
Pant played a fighting innings
Rishabh Pant is considered a specialist in Test cricket. He proved this despite injury in the Bangalore Test. Pant, while carrying an injury, scored a brilliant 99 runs in the second innings. Disappointingly, he could not complete his century but due to his innings, India could avoid the innings defeat.
