Rishabh Pant: The Indian cricket team has made a brilliant comeback in the first test match against New Zealand. After being out for 46 runs in the first innings, the Indian team made a brilliant comeback in the second innings. New Zealand scored 402 runs in the first innings. And achieved a huge lead of 356 runs. India performed brilliantly in the second innings of the third day. This continued even on the fourth day of the match. Till lunch, India's score was 344/3. Then the Indian team was only 12 runs behind.
In the second innings, Rohit Sharma (52) and Virat Kohli (70) played brilliant innings and gave a good start to the team. Which was promoted by Sarfaraz Khan and Rishabh Pant. Both of them made a partnership of 100 runs for the fourth wicket. Due to which India made a comeback in the match. On the fourth day, Pant was out on 99 runs and missed a century.
Rishabh Pant has become the fastest Indian wicketkeeper to score 2500 runs in Test cricket. He achieved this feat in just 62 innings. Earlier this record was in the name of former Indian cricket team captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni. He made this record in 69 innings. Whereas Farooq Engineer had achieved this feat in 82 innings. Pant could not keep wickets on the third day due to knee injury. He rested for a day. And batted brilliantly on the fourth day.

The engineer did this 18 times in 87 innings. Dhoni is in first place in this matter. He scored 50 or more runs 39 times in 144 innings in Tests.
