Rishabh Pant’s Heartfelt Tribute to Coach on his Death Anniversary

India wicket-keeping batter Rishabh Pant was seen posting emotional tributes to his childhood coach Tarak Sinha, who breathed his last on November 6, 2021, after suffering from lung cancer. Sinha, the guiding light for many aspiring cricketers at his Sonnet Cricket Club in Delhi, is no more with this mortal world. It’s three years since he left, Pant said, paying tributes to Sinha. But yet, he inspires and shapes so many today.

A very emotional post on his Instagram story by Pant: “It has been three years since our sir Mr. Tarak Sinha left us, yet his presence feels as strong as ever. The time without him has stretched long, filled with memories of his wisdom, guidance and the warmth he brought into our lives.”. We walk ahead. Thank you, sir, was the reaction with tears in his voice for all those who followed on seeing that there was depth behind all these achievements and progress the great coach had to contribute toward Pant’s making such incredible journey in crickets’ history.

Many famous players from India trained in this renowned cricket academy coached by the legend Tarak Sinha, and an influential name departed after he left a heavy responsibility vacate his vacant seat in India Cricket world. Sinha coached many other stars besides Pant, including Shikhar Dhawan and Amit Mishra.

Dedicated towards the game and his young cricketers, he is one of the most revered figures in Indian cricket by virtue of his Sonnet Cricket Club-a breeding ground for talent. He not only dished out technical training but was a mentor who bet in the interest of every player he coached-doctrine, grit, and selfless love for the game.

Indeed, as Rishabh Pant makes all leaps to ever greater heights with his show on the international stage, words remain for Tarak Sinha’s hand in shaping Pant into the young cricketer he now is; proof comes in the form of the strides he has taken in terms of ranking six in the ICC Test Rankings. The three-match Test series against New Zealand is testimony to his skills and mental fortitude as he scored 261 runs at an impressive strike rate. As Pant gears up for the Border Gavaskar Trophy series versus Australia starting November 22 in Perth, his tribute to Sinha is a reminder that a coach leaves a mark in a player’s career forever.

Rishabh Pant is that perfect cocktail of raw talent, hard work, and hallmark of great mentors like Tarak Sinha-whose legacies will continue to inspire the next generation of cricketters for years to come
