Kavya is very popular among the fans and is often seen supporting Sunrisers at IPL venues. She is also a regular presence at SRH's table during the auction. The incident happened when the house was bidding for Pant. Team India's wicketkeeper batsman Rishabh Pant is known to be the highest paid player in the ongoing IPL auction as he was bought by Lucknow Super Giants for a huge amount of ₹27 crore. The amount spent by LSG for Pant ensured that Shreyas Iyer's record of being the most expensive player of the tournament was held for barely a few minutes, when Punjab Kings broke the bank to buy the India batsman for Rs 26.75 crore.
