RJ Balaji’s Sorgavaasal clears censorship formalities

As debut director Siddharth Vishwanath’s Sorgavaasalstarring RJ Balaji in the lead, is slated for a theatrical release on November 29, the makers have come up with an announcement regarding the film’s censorship on Monday.

Accordingly, the film has been certified with an ‘A’ by the Central Bureau Of Film Certification (CBFC). The film revolves around the Central Prison is expected to take place in 1999.

Apart from Balaji, the film has Saniya Iyappan as the female lead, with Selvaraghavan, Karunas, Balaji Sakthivel, Natty, Sharaf-U-Dheen, Hakkim Shah, Anthonythasan, Ravi Raghavendra, and Samuel Robinson in important roles.

Sorgavaasal is written by Thamizh Praba, Ashwin Ravichandran and director Sidharth Vishwanath. On the technical crew, the film has music by Christo Xavier, cinematography by Prince Anderson, editing by Selva RK and art direction by S Jayachandran. Sorgavaasal is backed by Think Studios and Swipe Right Studio.

The film will release along with Siddharth and Ashika Ranganath’s Miss You.
