A tragic road accident on Purvanchal Expressway shocked the entire area on Saturday. A frightening situation was created at Point 51.6 near Ratauli Dhih of Subeha police station area, when a Wagon R car parked on the roadside was hit hard by a Brezza car coming at a high speed.
Breeza car lost control
According to eyewitnesses, the Wagon R car was parked on the roadside at that time. Some people present in the car were standing outside, while others were sitting inside. Then the Brezza car coming from behind lost control and went at high speed and collided directly into the parked car. The collision was so heavy that the Wagon R got dragged several meters and stopped after going about two hundred meters further. After this, fire broke out in the car, due to which the situation became even more frightening.
A total of five people sitting in the Wagon R died in the horrific accident, including two innocent children. The situation due to both fire and collision was so serious that the dead could not be identified immediately. Local people rushed to the spot and tried to control the situation. Taking the risk, you pulled out the injured people trapped in the cars and immediately informed the police and ambulance.

On the other hand, four people traveling in the Brezza car are said to be seriously injured. With the help of the villagers present nearby, they were immediately sent to CHC Haidergarh, where everyone is undergoing treatment. According to doctors, the condition of some of the injured remains critical, so if needed, they can be referred to a big hospital.
After the accident, the police team reached the spot and removed both the vehicles from the road and normalized the traffic on the expressway. The police and fire brigade also worked hard to control the fire. At present, efforts are on to identify the deceased and the police is busy investigating the matter in detail as to why the Brezza car driver was speeding and whether there was any technical reason behind losing control of the vehicle.
Local people say that such accidents are increasing continuously due to high speed and careless driving on the expressway. After this case, questions are being raised again as to when strict monitoring will be ensured for the safety of passengers.
