Robert Pattinson and Lance Oppenheim to back Primetime for A24
After directing the HBO documentary series Ren Fairedirector Lance Oppenheim will team up with actor Robert Pattinson to produce Primetime for A24.
Though the details regarding the plot is kept under wraps, it is being said that the project is inspired by 2000s reality show To Catch a Predator hosted by Chris Hansen. The show is aimed to nab sexual predators red-handed by setting a hidden camera and orchestrating sting operations to trap culprits to home under the pretense of having sexual intercourse with a minor. The suspects get arrested when they arrive at the spot.
Oppenheim has to his credit the documentary films Some Kind of Heaven and Spermworld. Some Kind of Heaven is about the world’s largest retirement community, and Spermworld follows the story of sperm donors and recipients and how they are connected.
Apart from backing PrimetimePattinson will next be seen in Bong Joon Ho’s Mickey 17 and will star and produce The Batman sequel under his banner Icki Eneo Arlo along with Brighton McCloskey, Range’s Brian Kavanaugh Jones and Fred Berger, Square Peg’s Lars Knudsen, Ari Aster and Tyler Campellone.
