Robert Vadra News: Gandhi family’s son-in-law Robert Vadra has given a statement on Tuesday which has created a stir in the political circles. He spoke openly about the possibilities of his wife Priyanka Gandhi Vadra becoming Prime Minister. Vadra said that Priyanka’s political future is very bright and a time will come when the people of the country will want to see her on the top post i.e. Prime Minister.

This statement of Vadra has come when Congress MP Imran Masood compared Priyanka with Indira Gandhi and called her PM material. Congress MP from Saharanpur Imran Masood had recently said that Priyanka Gandhi will prove to be a strong Prime Minister like her grandmother Indira Gandhi on issues like atrocities on Hindu minorities in Bangladesh.

…Learned a lot from brother: Vadra

Responding to this, Robert Vadra told the media that Priyanka has learned a lot from her grandmother Indira, father Rajiv Gandhi, mother Sonia ji and brother Rahul Gandhi. He said that when Priyanka speaks, she speaks from the heart and people see hope in her. They debate topics that really need to be heard.

Vadra further said that I think his future in politics is very bright. Priyanka is trying her best to bring the changes that are necessary at the grassroots level in the country. Vadra stressed that all this would happen keeping in mind the public’s consent and not just their views.

The businessman further said that public opinion is also there to bring about change and I think that is sure to happen with time. It is noteworthy that after the continuous election defeats of Congress, a section within the party has often been raising the demand of giving a bigger role to Priyanka Gandhi.

BJP said attack on Congress

BJP has reacted sharply to this statement. BJP spokesperson Shehzad Poonawala claimed that Rahul Gandhi is nervous because his party colleagues are rejecting his words. He gave the example of Shashi Tharoor who had praised the work of NDA in Bihar.

Poonawalla said that Imran Masood has made it clear that he no longer trusts Rahul Gandhi, so he tried to bring Priyanka in his place. The BJP spokesperson sarcastically said that Masood’s demand has also been supported by Robert Vadra, which reflects the ongoing tussle within the Congress.
