EngineAI introduced the T800 humanoid in December. In a video, this robot was seen doing side kicks, 360 degree spin and fast moves like martial arts. Its body is made of aviation-grade aluminum, making it light yet extremely strong. This is why it can tolerate high-intensity movements for a long time.

Powerful battery and advanced sensor system

The T800 has a solid-state lithium battery, which can work continuously for about 4 hours. There is an active cooling system installed in the joints of its legs, which prevents overheating. Apart from this, 360 degree LiDAR, stereo camera and fast processing system help it to recognize surrounding objects and avoid collision. Its joint motor produces up to 450 Nm of torque, allowing it to perform moves like sharp kicks and sudden changes in direction.

Experts believe that making T800 available for free will be of great benefit to small companies. This will increase cooperation between industry, universities and research labs and speed up innovation. Beijing analyst Pan Helin says that such events provide an opportunity to take humanoid robots out of the lab and test them in the real world.
