Rock in Lucknow Race Course: Golden Oaks won the prestigious Army Commander Cup, Shaan-e-Azeem won among Indian breeds.

Lucknow, Amrit Thoughts: Golden Oaks won the Army Commander Cup by completing the race at lightning speed on the 1000 meter track at Lucknow Race Course on Sunday. In the Thoroughbred horse race, Angel in My Heart finished second and Chopin (jockey-Monu) finished third.

In the Indian Breed Race, Shaan-e-Azeem stood first, Aloha (second) and Spiritual Force stood third.

Hundreds of spectators turned up at the race course to enjoy the most prestigious race of the season. Despite the scorching heat the enthusiasm did not diminish. After the race, exciting competitions were also organized for the spectators. In this, the title of Best Hat (Gentleman) was won by Sufiyan Siddiqui and the title of Best Hat (Lady) was won by Ritu Pundir.

The title of Best Dressed (Gentleman) went to Lieutenant Colonel Siddharth Vikram Singh while the title of Best Dressed (Lady) went to Jotsna Habibullah. The title of Made for Each Other (Young Couple) was won by Mr. and Miss Nishant Solanki, while the title of Made for Each Other (Senior Couple) was won by the pair of Lieutenant General AK Mishra and Meera Mishra. Full of thrill, speed and enthusiasm, this event once again took the prestige of Lucknow Race Course to new heights.
