Rohit gets visibly frustrated as Kohli gets dismissed on last ball of Day 3 of 1st test v New Zealand

The first Test match between India and New Zealand in Bengaluru saw the unfortunate wicket of Virat Kohli on the last ball before the stumps on Day 3.With Kohli in his peak form, hopes of India to turn the match around on Day 4 faced a severe whip when he got dismissed for 70 runs.

After witnessing their lowest-ever total in a home Test in India, India had already suffered a massive blow. New Zealand responded by taking this opportunity, and posted a massive total of 402 runs, which put India under immense pressure. Even though India showed resilience in their second innings on Day 3, both Virat and Rohit were visibly frustrated when they got dismissed.

As he spectated Kohli getting edged to New Zealand wicketkeeper Tom Blundell from the pavilion, Rohit was visibly annoyed. The whole stadium was filled with awe as the crowd saw yet another blow for India.

Rohit was dismissed in the same unfortunate manner. His innings was ended when the ball bounced awkwardly due to a defensive hit, which clipped the stumps. After his departure, a 136-run partnership between Kohli and Sarfaraz turned to be pivotal to change the innings for India.

As they now approach the important time for Day 4, India has a significant gap in their ranks due to this withdrawal. India will need other players to come up to secure a comeback and save the Test.
