Rohit Sharma and Hardik Pandya training together ahead of the upcoming ICC tournament

Indian men’s cricket team captain Rohit Sharma and all-rounder Hardik Pandya were seen training together recently. In a video that has gone viral, Rohit, 37, can be seen batting under the lights at Reliance Corporate Park in Navi Mumbai while Hardik is batting. People were shocked and out. Both Rohit and Hardik will be selected in the Indian squad for the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy, which will be held from February 19 to March 9. India will play in Dubai in the eight-team ICC tournament. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is yet to announce the Indian squad for the professional tournament, which is returning after a gap of eight years.

Rohit will train with Mumbai’s Ranji team at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Tuesday, January 14, as he leads India in the 2025 Champions Trophy. However, it is not clear whether he will play in Ajinkya Rahane’s side’s upcoming match against Jammu and Kashmir in the Elite Group A of the Ranji Trophy 2024-25.

Mumbai will face Jammu and Kashmir from January 23 to 26 at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

While Rohit is yet to confirm his participation in the tournament, young Indian batsman Yashasvi Jaiswal has confirmed his participation. He is ready to lift the curtain on Mumbai in a must-win game.

Hardik on the other hand is set to return to team India’s white ball squad which is set to take on England in a five match T 20 series

Hardik recently turned up for krunal Pandya’s Baroda for the Mustaq Ali and Vijay Hazare trophy.

The first match of the series is set to be played on January 22 with Kolkata hosting the opening match.
