Rohit has now become the batsman who has hit the most number of sixes against Delhi Capitals in IPL. He has also become the Indian batsman who has hit the most number of sixes against a single IPL team. He achieved this feat in the match against Delhi Capitals.
Rohit Sharma scored 35 runs in 26 balls against Delhi Capitals. His innings consisted of five chaggas and one chagga. With just one six, he overtook MS Dhoni for hitting most sixes against Delhi Capitals.

Before the Mumbai vs Delhi match, Rohit Sharma and MS Dhoni had hit 50 each against Delhi Capitals. By hitting a six against DC, Rohit became the Indian batsman with the most number of sixes against a single IPL team. Rohit has now hit 51 sixes against Delhi, while Dhoni has hit 50 sixes.
Rohit has always enjoyed playing against Delhi Capitals. Delhi is one of the two teams against which the ‘Hitman’ has scored more than 1,000 IPL runs. Rohit has scored 1,092 runs in 38 matches against DC.
Chris Gayle holds the record for hitting most sixes against a single IPL team. He hit 61 sixes against Punjab Kings and 54 sixes against Kolkata Knight Riders. Rohit Sharma has now reached third place in this list.
