Rohit Sharma injured, knee injury
The fourth match of India vs Australia 5-match Border Gavaskar Test Series is to be played in Melbourne on 26 December. However, before this match, the difficulties of Team India are continuously increasing. If KL Rahul got injured on Saturday, now there is news of captain Rohit Sharma getting injured during the practice session on Sunday.
It has been learned that Rohit got injured in his left knee during practice. He was also seen applying an icepack to his injury. During this time the hitman was seen writhing in pain. After getting injured, the Indian captain took off his gear and sat on a chair while the physio took out an ice pack. The pain was clearly visible on Rohit's face when the pack was applied and later the physio placed Rohit's left leg on a chair to make him comfortable.
The injury did not look that serious and the physios are taking precautions to ensure that the swelling, if any, goes down. There is still some time left for the Boxing Day Test to start and Rohit is hopeful that the pain will go away.
