Chasing the target of 237 runs, Rohit Sharma displayed his impressive batting in front of a packed crowd at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium and broke his own record.
38-year-old Rohit completed his century by hitting eight fours and eight sixes in 62 balls. This was his second century in the Vijay Hazare Trophy and his fastest century in List A cricket. He broke his own record of scoring a century in 63 balls against Afghanistan in the 2023 ODI World Cup.

In Jaipur, Rohit completed 150 runs in 91 balls with the help of 18 fours and nine sixes. Known for his impressive ODI centuries in the last decade, Rohit crossed the 150-run mark in a 50-over innings for the first time since scoring 159 against the West Indies in late 2019. He was out after scoring 155 runs, in which he hit 18 fours and nine sixes.
Let us tell you that Rohit Sharma last played in the Vijay Hazare Trophy in the semi-finals of the 2018-19 season. This experienced player from Mumbai took part in the quarter-final and semi-final matches against Bihar and Hyderabad, which both the teams won comfortably. Rohite had scored a total of 49 runs in both the matches, out of which he remained unbeaten after scoring 32 runs against Bihar.
