Speculations keep on increasing day-by-day regarding Rohit Sharma’s future with IPL franchise Mumbai Indians (MI). Many reports suggested that the star player can even end up leaving the Mumbai-based franchise.
However, according to a report by Indian Express, MI are likely to retain Rohit along with 3 other star players. The report claims that along with Rohit, MI are also looking to retain Hardik Pandya, Jasprit Bumrah and Suryakumar Yadav.
It is expected that they will use RTM card for Tim David and will try to buy Ishan Kishan in the auction. Though there haven’t been any official announcement of MI’s retentions, it will be interesting to see how things will develop in the coming weeks as the mega auction is also around the corner.
Earlier, MI also appointed Paras Mhambrey as their co-bowling coach alongside Lasith Malinga and Mahela Jayawardene as their head coach.
