Rohit Sharma’s horrid form Continues dismissed for…

Rohit Sharma’s miserable form continued when he was dismissed for 3 runs in the Ranji Trophy game between Mumbai and Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday. Playing his first Ranji match since 2015, Rohit looked decidedly uncomfortable before the bouncers from the Jammu and Kashmir bowlers. Only 3 runs came from 19 balls, and he was finally dismissed by a full-length delivery from fast bowler Umar Nazir Mir. The shot miraculously misfired off Mir’s delivery. Yudhvir Singh was very well placed to catch as Rohit’s innings came to an end.

The BCCI has finally agreed to put Pakistan’s name on the jersey that the Indian cricket team will wear at the Champions Trophy 2025, Jeyaluna informed the media.

Sources from Pakistan told IANS a few days ago that the BCCI had rejected the request for the national men’s team to wear kits referring to Pakistan as the host for the Champions Trophy 2025.

Now, in any case, the BCCI has decided that Pakistan’s name would appear on the jersey.

“We will follow whatever the ICC says,” BCCI secretary Devajit Saikia told Cricbuzz. When it was pointed out that the official ICC logo had Pakistan written beneath it, Saikia repeated himself: “We will follow the ICC directive.”

Saikia’s remarks put a stop to the uproar about India’s objection to the official logo now that the team will not be traveling to Pakistan.

Pakistan is designated as the hosts of the Champions Trophy, taking place from February 19 to March 9, according to the cricbuzz report. India will carry out their matches in Dubai after the PCB accepted hybrid model hosting, since the Indian government said ‘no’ to the national team traveling to Pakistan.
