'I will talk after the press conference', Rohit looked unhappy about the family rules, will talk to BCCI

Delhi: Recently, BCCI has implemented new rules regarding the families of cricketers, after which it has become a topic of discussion. After these changes, when Indian cricket team captain Rohit Sharma and chief selector Ajit Agarkar announced Team India for the Champions Trophy 2025, journalists raised questions about it.

Rohit gave a funny answer

Rohit Sharma replied to this in a funny manner and said, “After the press conference, we will definitely talk about this rule, because all the players are calling me and want to know many things.”

Players will stay with the team

According to the new BCCI rules, when players go on foreign tours, their families will no longer be allowed to travel with them, as was the case earlier. Now players will have to travel with their team only, and will not go with other families.

Family will stay together for 14 days on 45 day tour

Additionally, if the tour is for 45 days, the player's family will be able to stay with them for a maximum of two weeks. During this period, BCCI will bear the living expenses of the family, but the player will have to bear the burden of other expenses. Families will be allowed to travel only on the dates decided by the coach, captain and GM Operations.
