Romano CONFIRMS Amorim’s Man Utd contract
Fabrizio Romano has confirmed the news about Ruben Amorim’s Manchester United contract.
The Sporting CP head coach appears set to become the new Red Devils head coach, following the sacking of Erik ten Hag earlier this week.
There has been a myriad of reports concerning that immediate move, with United expected to pay Sporting a hefty compensation package worth €10 million.
And now Romano has posted on X, formerly known as Twitter, about Amorim’s contract length among other things. He wrote: “Rúben Amorim can be considered new Man United manager, confirmed.
“Portuguese coach will start new #MUFC chapter during the international break;
documents to be signed this week.
“Contract until 2027. Sporting to receive €10m clause — plus €1m for staff/30 days notice.
