Ronaldo’s private jet reportedly departs Saudi Arabia amid tension in Middle East
According to data from Flightradar24, Ronaldo’s Bombardier Global Express 6500 departed King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh and landed at Madrid Barajas Airport at 1:32 a.m. Central European Time (7:32 a.m. Hanoi time) on Tuesday.
The private jet traveled over Egypt and the Mediterranean Sea before reaching the Spanish capital. However, it is unclear whether Ronaldo and his family were on the flight.
The Portuguese superstar, 41, lives in Riyadh with his wife Georgina Rodriguez and their five children.
The Bombardier Global Express 6500 is worth about US$80 million, depending on the interior. It can accommodate 17 passengers, offering comfort with luxurious, private rooms, a workspace, and a dining area, allowing Ronaldo to perfectly balance work and leisure.

Before owning the current private jet, Ronaldo sold his Gulfstream G200 that he purchased in 2015 for $22 million, The Mirror reported.
On Tuesday, Al Nassr’s X account still posted four photos, including one of Ronaldo sitting in the gym.
Ronaldo played for Al Nassr in their 3-1 victory over Al Fahya in the Saudi Pro League on Feb. 28, but left the field early due to injury.
The speculation around Ronaldo’s movements comes as the situation in the Middle East deteriorates following the military conflict between the U.S., Israel, and Iran.
On Tuesday, the Saudi Arabian Ministry of Defense confirmed that the U.S. embassy in Riyadh was targeted by two drones, resulting in a fire and minor damage. This follows a series of airstrikes launched by the U.S. and Israel on Feb. 28 targeting Iranian leadership, killing Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, in response to Tehran’s nuclear ambitions.
The conflict has already impacted the sporting calendar. The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) has postponed multiple matches in the West Region, including Al Nassr’s scheduled AFC Champions League Elite away fixture against UAE’s Al Wasl on March 4.
