Round of resignations in BJP: Former minister and former MLA resigned, were angry over not getting ticket

Ranchi: The phase of resignations had started in Jharkhand BJP ever since the announcement of candidates. On Monday, former minister Satyanand Jha Batul and former MLA Ramesh Oraon resigned from BJP. Both are said to be angry over not getting tickets in the assembly elections.

Satyanand Jha wanted BJP ticket from Batul Nala assembly seat but he was not given the ticket. Now he is preparing to contest the elections as an independent. Ramesh Oraon, who was the MLA from Gumla's Vishunpur, made many big allegations against the party leaders. He has sent his resignation to State President Babulal Marandi.

Maneka Sardar, who was MLA from Potka, initiated the resignation with the announcement of candidates in BJP. After this, Seraikela ticket contenders Ganesh Mahali and Basco Besra had resigned from BJP. Along with this, former minister Lewis Marandi is also said to be angry over not getting the ticket, it is believed that she may join JMM on Monday.
