RR vs GT IPL 2026: In the 53rd match of the Indian Premier League 2026, Gujarat Titans defeated Rajasthan Royals by 77 runs. With this, Shubman Gill’s team has reached second place in the points table with 14 points. In response to the runs given by Gujarat, Rajasthan team was reduced to 152 runs in 16.3 overs. For Rajasthan, Ravindra Jadeja scored 38 runs and Vaibhav Suryavanshi scored 36 runs. Whereas Rashid Khan took 4 wickets and Jason Holder took 3 wickets.

Rajasthan had a bad start

Rajasthan Royals, who came to chase the target of 230 runs given by Gujarat Titans, had a good start in the first 2 overs, but after that the Rajasthan team kept losing wickets continuously. Mohammad Siraj has given the first blow to Rajasthan by dismissing Vaibhav Suryavanshi in the third over. Vaibhav played an innings of 36 runs in 16 balls. After this, in the fourth over, Kagiso Rabada showed Yashasvi Jaiswal the way to the pavilion. Jaiswal scored only 3 runs.

Rajasthan has suffered the sixth blow in the form of Shubham Dubey. Rashid Khan sent him to the pavilion. Dubey scored 15 runs on 14 balls. After this, Rashid Khan made Jadeja walk in the 14th over. Jadeja scored 38 runs on 25 balls. After this, only Dasun Shanaka could cross the double figure and within no time the entire Rajasthan team was reduced to 152 runs in 16.3 overs.

Rashid Khan bowled brilliantly and took 4 big wickets for 33 runs in his spell of 4 overs. Whereas Jason Holder took 3 wickets for just 12 runs in 2.3 overs. Kagiso Rabada took 2 wickets. While Mohammad Siraj got 1 success.

Gujarat Titans’ batting was like this

In this match against Rajasthan Royals, after losing the toss and batting first, Gujarat Titans scored 229 runs for 4 wickets. For the team, captain Shubhman Gill played a stormy inning of 84 runs in 44 balls with the help of 9 fours and 3 sixes. Whereas Sai Sudarshan scored 55 runs on 36 balls. Washington Sundar played an unbeaten inning of 37 runs in 20 balls. While Rahul Tewatia scored unbeaten 14 runs on 4 balls. Jos Buttler contributed 13 runs. Brijesh Sharma took 2 wickets for Rajasthan. Yash Punja and Ravindra Jadeja got 1 success each.
