New Delhi: The Railway Recruitment Cell, Western Railway will begin the RRC WR Apprentice recruitment 2024 application window today, September 23. Candidates can apply online for RRC WR apprentice recruitment 2024 through the official website, rrc-wr.com. The last date to complete the application process is October 22, 2024.
The RRC WR apprentice recruitment 2024 application fee is Rs 100. Candidates who belong to the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) Person with Disability (PWD) categories and women applicants are not required to pay any application fee.
The candidature of the applicants will be considered only based on the information filled in the application form. The document verification will be held in the concerned divisions and workshops. Through this RRC WR recruitment drive a total of 5,066 vacant posts will be filled.
RRC WR Apprentice Recruitment 2024: Eligibility criteria
Those who will fulfil the belong requirements can apply for the post of Apprentice in RRC WR-
- Candidates must have passed Class 10 with at least 50 per cent aggregate marks from a recognized board.
- Candidates should be between the age of 15 to 24 years as of October 22, 2024.
- The Industrial Training Institute (ITI) certificate affiliated with the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) or State Council for Vocational Training (SCVT) is mandatory.
- The Applicants whose SSC or ITI results are awaited are not eligible to fill out the application form.
As per the RRC WR Apprentice recruitment selection process, candidates will be shortlisted based on the merit list. The merit list is prepared considering the average percentage of marks obtained in Class 10 and in the ITI exam, with equal weightage given to both. The final selection of the candidate will be done subject to verification of the original testimonials and medical fitness certificate of the candidate.
