Rs 11,000 reward for auto driver who took Saif Ali Khan to hospital
Mumbai Mumbai. Last week we got the shocking news that Saif Ali Khan was attacked by a thief in his house and he was rushed to Lilavati Hospital, where he underwent surgery. The attacker has been arrested and is said to be a resident of Bangladesh. The night Saif was attacked, he was taken to the hospital in an auto rickshaw and the auto driver claims that he did not take any money from the actor.
Now according to a report, the auto driver has been rewarded by an organization and he has been given Rs 11,000 for his good work. Speaking to India Today, rickshaw puller Bhajan Singh said, “I was going when a woman shouted at me, 'Stop, stop, stop' (stop, stop, stop). The woman made me take a U-turn. Asked to come to the gate of the building. I stopped at the gate and saw a man covered in blood. His shirt was completely red.”
The driver said, “It was around 2.45-3 in the night and the road was completely deserted. We went from Bandra West to Turner Road. After that we went to Hill Road, passed through Chapel Road and then reached Lilavati Hospital. The child was sitting in the middle And he (Saif) was sitting on his right side. I didn't recognize him initially. I thought he was a patient and I should reach the hospital as soon as possible.”
