‘Becoming a world leader is not our ambition, it is the need of the world’, RSS Chief told the real objective of Sangh
RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh’s Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat on Sunday appealed to the Hindus to unite and take Sanatan Dharma to greater heights. ‘World Union Camp’held in Rangareddy district of Telangana; Addressing the closing ceremony of the conference, Bhagwat said that India’s aim is not to show power but to give direction to the world.
In this context, while talking about the concept of ‘Vishwaguru’, he said that India becoming a Vishwaguru is not his personal ambition, but the world needs it. However, this does not happen automatically, it requires continuous and hard work, running through various streams, of which the Sangh is also an important stream. The Sangh is continuously working towards this goal through social and cultural efforts.
‘Sanatan Dharma and Hindutva are synonymous with each other’
Referring to twentieth century spiritual leader Yogi Aurobindo, the RSS chief said the idea of revival of Sanatan Dharma was expressed long ago. He said that this process, which started a century ago, now has to be taken forward with determination and collective effort. Mohan Bhagwat said that that time has now come. 100 years ago when Yogi Aurobindo had declared that the revival of Sanatan Dharma is the will of God and the rise of Hindu nation is for the revival of Sanatan Dharma.
Emphasizing in his speech, he said that India, Hindu Rashtra, Sanatan Dharma and Hindutva are synonyms of each other. Yogi Aurobindo indicated a century ago that this process had begun. Now we have to take that process forward. Now the time has come for all Hindus to unite and uplift Sanatan Dharma.
Objective to organize Hindu society
The RSS chief said that Sangh-affiliated organizations in India and abroad share the same objective – to organize Hindu society and present an example of value-based, disciplined life to the world. Speaking on India’s global role, Mohan Bhagwat stressed that continuous efforts are needed in many areas to become a world leader.

Mohan Bhagwat said that the Sangh will lay special emphasis on personality building and society to volunteers Is working towards bringing positive change by sending it to various areas. He claimed that today the work of people associated with the Sangh is being appreciated everywhere and the society’s trust in them has increased.
