Ruckus in the courtroom… Two lawyers clashed to fight the case of Saif's attacker, then the magistrate gave advice
Mohammad Shariful Islam Shahzad, accused of attacking Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan on January 16, was presented in Bandra Court on Sunday. Seeing the seriousness of the matter, two lawyers clashed with each other in the court and started pushing. The magistrate had to intervene and suggested both the lawyers to fight the accused's case as a team, on which both agreed.
How was accused Mohammad Shariful Shahzad caught?
The police arrested the accused with the help of three main aspects. Police identified the accused through CCTV footage of Bandra Railway Station, bike number and facial recognition technology. On January 9, the accused was seen on a bike at Bandra station. The police was successful in reaching Shehzad through bike number. During interrogation, the accused confessed to his crime and told that he had gone to Saif Ali Khan's house to steal, but his plan did not succeed.
Police sent the accused to 5 days custody
The court sent the accused Shahzad to police custody for 5 days. The police had appealed for 14-day remand of the accused, but the court decided to send him to custody.
