1. Utility and Service Transactions

New limits will now apply on payment of bills like electricity, water and gas. If your monthly expenses exceed this limit, 1% fee + GST (Maximum ₹5,000 per transaction).

2. Wallet Loading Changes

Rules for loading money into digital wallets (like Paytm, Mobikwik etc.) have also been liberalized:

Up to ₹2,000: On loading up to ₹2,000 per transaction no charge It will take.

More than ₹2,000: If the amount is more than this 1% fee + GST It will take.

3. Transportation and Tolls (Tolls & Bridges)

Now toll and bridge transactions will be included in the statement “Transportation Fee” Will be shown as. The exemption limit has also been increased for:

YES PRIVATE / MARQUEE / RESERVE: Limit increased from ₹50,000 ₹75,000 Has been done.

Other Retail Cards: Limit increased from ₹25,000 ₹50,000 Has been done.

4. Other important updates (effective from January 15, 2026)

Note that some rules related to railways and fuel have already changed:

Railway: 1% charge on transactions above ₹30,000.

Fuel: 1% charge on transactions above ₹10,000.
