Rules related to ration card
Online facility for ration card is starting from the year 2026. This means that now you will not have to visit government offices to get a ration card made. You will be able to apply for ration card online sitting at home.
Change in rules of PM Kisan Yojana
This is important news for the farmers taking advantage of the Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. In many states including Uttar Pradesh, if farmers do not have ID, their installment amount of this scheme may be stopped. Apart from this, there will also be changes in PM Crop Insurance Scheme. From the year 2026, damage caused to Kharif crops by wild animals will also be included in the insurance cover. However, in case of loss, it will be necessary to report within 72 hours.
Changes in rules related to banking and tax
Changes can be made in the Income Tax Return (ITR) form in the new year. Tax payers may have to provide more data-based information. At the same time, there will be changes in the rules related to banks. From April 2026, credit score will be updated in just 7 days. Currently it takes 15 days.
