There is news of some people getting injured. According to media reports, this incident took place between Hetampur and Gher railway station. According to news agency PTI, four passengers have lost their lives after being hit by another train.
Rumor of fire spread on Udaipur Intercity Express. Within a short time there was an atmosphere of chaos. In panic, a passenger stopped the train by pulling the chain. Suddenly the passengers started getting down on the tracks. Meanwhile, Patalkot Express train arrived from the other side. It is being told that many passengers are hit by the train. Railway and police teams are deployed on the spot. Relief and rescue work is being carried out. The incident is being reported around 4 pm on Sunday evening.

Railway officials said that a rumor spread about fire in Khajuraho-Udaipur Intercity Express train in Morena district. Someone stopped the train by pulling the chain. Passengers started deboarding the train in a hurry. Meanwhile, passengers lost their lives after being hit by another express train. According to officials, the accident occurred between Hetampur and Dholpur sections of Jhansi railway division at around 4:15 pm.

All the passengers were hit by Patalkot Express.
Manoj Singh, Public Relations Officer of Jhansi Division of North Central Railway, said that the passengers got off the train after the news of fire in Khajuraho-Udaipur Intercity Express created panic. At the same time Patalkot Express arrived on the adjacent track. Four passengers alighting from the train could not see this train and were hit by it. All four have died.
‘My wife and child died’
After the incident, a passenger told that we were traveling by intercity train. Then someone spread a rumor that the train was on fire. The train stopped and people started jumping out. We also got down. My wife was standing outside with one child, while the other child remained inside the train. I went inside to see him. At the same time, a train coming from the other side crushed the people. My wife and child died.
