Rupali Ganguly told in a funny way what she has in her wardrobe.

mumbai�मुंबई : Popular television actress Rupali Ganguly has given interesting information about what she has in her wardrobe. Keeping her meme game high, Rupali shared a fun post about clothes and wardrobe on Instagram Stories. The post read: “When I get slim again, then wear a wardrobe full of clothes. (When I lose weight, then I will wear clothes.)” The actress also shared some laughing emojis.

Talking about work, Rupali rose to fame with her work in the popular show “Anupama” produced by Rajan Shahi and Deepa Shahi under the banner of Director's Cut Productions, it is a remake of the Bengali series “Srimoi”. It also featured Sudhanshu Pandey, Madalsa Sharma and Gaurav Khanna.

Released in October 2024, it stars Rupali along with Alisha Parveen and Shivam Khajuria in the lead roles of the second generation. Talking about actress, Rupali is the daughter of director Anil Ganguly and sister of choreographer Vijay Ganguly. He started his career at the age of seven with the film “Saheb” in 1985.

She made her small screen debut in 2000 with 'Sukanya', gaining further recognition with her performances in 'Sanjeevani: A Medical Boon' and 'Bhabhi'. The actress created a sensation by playing the role of Monisha Sarabhai, a middle-class 'bahu' (daughter-in-law) to an upper-class 'saas' (mother-in-law) in the cult sitcom 'Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai'.

The 47-year-old star also participated in the first season of the controversial reality show 'Bigg Boss'. In May 2024, Rupali announced her entry into politics by joining the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

Recently Rupali filed a defamation notice against step daughter Isha Verma. The legal notice was in response to 'false and harmful statements' made by his step-daughter Isha and the move was taken to protect her reputation. The notice mentions that the actress also seeks compensation of Rs 50 crore.

The notice sent by Ganguly's lawyer Sana Raees Khan was addressed to Isha: “Our client has stated that she is shocked to see the posts and comments published by you on various social media platforms including Twitter (now X), Instagram and Facebook. Our client has said that it is appropriate to present the true and accurate facts for issuing the present notice…”
