Russell Brand branded ‘Epstein Island’ after controversial confession
Russell Brand has disgusted people with his latest shocking confession.
The 50-year-old comedian has already been facing multiple criminal charges in the UK for rape and sexual assault after an investigation began in 2023 after six women accused him of the incidents occurred between 1999 and 2009.
Even though, he has officially been pleaded not guilty to the sexual assault charges and was granted conditional bail earlier in 2026.

Russell recently appeared for a chat on The Megyn Kelly Show, where he confessed sleeping with a 16-year-old girl when he was 30.
“Thank you, Megyn Kelly, for giving me the grace to address, in particular, your anger, which is entirely legitimate and recognisable,” he said.
He tried to justify an indefensible act by claiming that the age of consent in the UK, where he grew up is 16.
“I did sleep with a 16-year-old when I was 30, but when I was 30, I was a very different person. I was a lot younger, and I was an immature 30-year-old,” Russell continued.
Brand further claimed, “I recognise that my sexual conduct in the past was selfish and I did not apply enough consideration, barely any, I suppose, really, to how that sex was affecting other people,” he added.
Internet reacts strongly to Russell Brand’s confession:
His confession has sparked an outrage on internet with people branding him as an “Epstein Island.”
One of the furious social media users pointed out, “What’s perplexing is that he was the one bringing awareness to Epstein and them soul cooking kids DURING con-coved…not surprised about him considering him dating Katie Perry she’s also sick with it.”
Meanwhile, another one expressed rage by saying, “they are trying to normalize it.”
“Hear me out. Even if it’s LEGAL, what part of your brain looks at a child, a 16yr old CHILD, at your big ssa age and think, yeeeah that’s it”, wrote another furious user.
Brand will be undergoing a trial which is scheduled to take place on October 12.
