Once again Russia and Ukraine war-peace proposal broken, 91 drones fell near Putin

Efforts to end the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine seem to be failing once again. Russia accused on Monday that Ukraine tried to carry out a large-scale drone attack on a residence of President Vladimir Putin in northern Russia. Russia claims that a total of 91 drones were used in this alleged attack, which were shot down in time by the Russian air defense system. American President Trump is very angry about the attack amid the peace agreement. He has also talked to the President of Russia.

Ukraine has completely rejected these allegations. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky called it “another round of lies” from Russia and said such statements were being made to undermine peace talks. After this allegation and counter-allegation, diplomatic tension between the two countries has increased further. US President Donald Trump also had to intervene in this entire matter. Trump told that President Putin himself called him and informed him about this alleged drone attack. Before meeting Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Florida, Trump told the media that Putin told him early in the morning that he had been attacked. Trump said that he is angry about this, but he also admitted that this claim may also be false.

President Trump said, “It’s one thing to attack during a war and another to attack a leader’s home. This is not the right time to do that.” He also made it clear that if this incident proves to be true, it can further increase the tension. Trump claimed that he had spoken to Putin twice in the last 24 hours. A day before this, he had also met Ukrainian President Zelensky. According to Trump, his conversation with Putin was “very positive” and despite some complex issues, hope for peace is not lost yet.

However, meanwhile, President Putin has instructed his military forces to intensify the campaign to gain complete control over the Zaporizhia region of Ukraine. The Kremlin has once again demanded that Ukraine withdraw its troops from the areas of Donbass where it still has a presence. Experts believe that if this claim of drone attack proves to be true, then it could prove to be another major tense turning point in the Russia-Ukraine war, which could deal a serious blow to the already fragile peace efforts.
