Russia kept planning…Ukraine made its move, started using 'Brahmastra'
Kyiv: Ukraine has fired American missiles at Russia for the first time after the approval of US President Joe Biden. According to RBC Ukraine, the Ukrainian military has used long-range American ATACMS missiles to attack inside Russia. The attack came two days after Biden authorized the use of US weapons for attacks inside Russia.
RBC Ukraine news agency quoted a source as saying that the attack took place in Karachaev in Russia's Bryansk region. “We used ATACMS to attack Russian territory for the first time,” the source said. The attack was carried out on a military base in the Bryansk region and was successfully targeted.
Earlier Biden had denied
It is noteworthy that amid fears of increasing tension, Biden had refused to allow Ukraine to carry out such attacks for months. However, the US approved it after reports of the deployment of more than 10,000 North Korean troops in Russia. The Daily Telegraph reported that after North Korea's intervention in the Ukraine-Russia war, America has taken it seriously and has also expressed the fear of increasing tension. After this permission was given to use these weapons.
These Russian targets were targeted
The agency further said that the main missile and artillery directorate of the Russian army and a Russian military base were targeted in the attack. Ukraine's National Security Council official Andriy Kovalenko said North Korean artillery weapons, guided aerial bombs, anti-aircraft missiles and ammunition for multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) were present at the site.
President Putin had warned
Earlier, Russia had warned against the use of these weapons. Russia had warned a day earlier that if these weapons were used, it would further inflame the fire of war and the world would move towards the Third World War. On the other hand, Russian President Putin, enraged after Biden's approval, signed the country's new nuclear policy on Tuesday. Under this, it has been announced that attacks on Russia using conventional missiles, drones and other aircraft will also fall under the criteria for the use of nuclear weapons.
