Russia targets industrial cities of Ukraine, 12 killed in attacks
12 people have been killed and dozens injured in Russian air strikes on Ukraine. These attacks took place on Monday when people were present outside their homes in the open. Therefore the death toll in these attacks may increase.
Meanwhile, many of Russia’s refineries, oil-gas warehouses and oil-gas pipelines have been targeted by Ukraine’s attacks, creating a crisis of petroleum products in Russian cities including Moscow and exports have been disrupted. Russia attacked Ukraine’s Dnipro city with a missile.
Six people were killed and 29 were injured in the attack. So many people have died and been injured due to the mini bus coming under attack. While three people were killed and eight injured in Russian attacks in the Ukrainian-controlled part of Zaporizhia. In Kharkiv too, a young woman has died and 10 people have been injured in a Russian attack.
All three cities attacked are major industrial cities of Ukraine. Therefore, due to the attacks there, Ukraine has suffered loss of both life and property. Ukraine has alleged that Russia is killing innocent people by targeting civilian targets.
Whereas the continuous targeting of Russian oil bases in Ukraine has created a fuel crisis in the Russian capital Moscow, the southern part of the country and the controlled Crimea. The sale of petroleum products has been limited at all these places.
Russian President Vladimir Putin described the situation as difficult in a high-level meeting but also said that the situation would soon be brought under control. Efforts have been started for this.
