Russia’s big statement on Middle East crisis, condemnation of America-Israel action, appeal for immediate ceasefire

Amidst the ongoing tension in the Middle East, Russia has issued a big statement strongly condemning the actions of America and Israel. Russia’s Foreign Ministry has described the entire incident as an “unprovoked attack”, calling it a step to increase violence in the region.

According to Russia’s Foreign Ministry, joint actions by the US and Israel have led to an “unprecedented series” of violence in the Middle East. The ministry claimed that the conflict has resulted in huge civilian casualties and massive damage to infrastructure.

Russia also said that due to this conflict the Strait of Hormuz, which is very important for global trade, has been affected. Iran’s retaliatory actions have brought activity on the vital sea route to a near standstill, affecting international trade and energy supplies.

Expressing concern, the Foreign Ministry said that the situation in the region is deteriorating rapidly and diplomatic solution is needed instead of military action. Russia has appealed to all parties to immediately conclude a ceasefire and return to the path of negotiations.

Russia especially expressed concern over the attacks on civilian targets and infrastructure and said that this is causing the loss of innocent lives, which should be stopped immediately.

Moscow also made it clear that it is ready to play its role in resolving this crisis. The Russian government said that it would cooperate in efforts to establish peace within the limits of available resources.

Even before this statement, Russian President Vladimir Putin had talked to the leadership of Iran and emphasized on calming the situation and diplomatic solution.

Many countries and international organizations around the world are continuously appealing for restraint regarding the Middle East crisis. Experts believe that if this conflict escalates further, it could have a serious impact not only on the region but also on the global economy and humanitarian situation.
