Rail Vikas Nigam Limited has signed an agreement with Russia-based TMH and Locomotive Electronic Systems Company for the creation of SPV-Kinet Railway Solutions Ltd. The newly formed SPV company will handle the work related to production, supply and maintenance of Vande Bharat sleeper trainsets. The company will supply 120 train sets i.e. 1920 Vande Bharat sleeper coaches to Indian Railways under a deal worth $6.5 billion. Shares of Rail Vikas Nigam Limited on Friday, September 27, 2024 were 0.87 percent higher at Rs. Trading at 526.40. Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd had announced in a stock exchange regulatory filing on August 30 that it will distribute dividend to investors within 30 days of the end of the annual general meeting. RVNL shares are part of the BSE 200 index.
