Ryan Gosling addresses chances of playing ‘Ghost Rider’ in MCU
Ryan Gosling revealed that he has had initial talks about playing Ghost Rider also known as Johnny Blaz in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
The 45-year-old previously expressed interest in the playing the popular character, originally played by Nicolas Cage in 2007 and 2011’s Ghost Rider movies.
Ryan has unveiled that there is still hope alive for him take up the comic book characters.
While promoting his new film Project Hail Mary, the Barbie actor addressed the chances of him playing the Ghost Rider in MCU at Josh Horowitz’s Happy Sad Confused Podcast.
According to Gosling, some discussion have been made with MCU boss Kevin Fiege.
“We’ll keep hope alive. Some discussions have been had. It’s a complicated situation”, said The Fall Guy star.
Prior to this, Kevin opened that he is open to cast a new actor preferably Gosling for the titular role.
Marvel boss stated, “Hey man, if Ryan wants to be Ghost Rider… Gosling’s unbelievable. Ryan is amazing…I’d love to find a place for him in the MCU.”
Meanwhile, the Canadian actor’s new movie Project Hail Mary is running successfully in theatres.
Directed by Phil Lord and Chris Miller, the American science fiction also features Sandra Huller, James Ortiz and Milana Vayntrub.
