Sabrina Carpenter has delighted her dedicated fans with yet another exciting project after clips leaked last month.
On Wednesday, April 1, the 26-year-old pop star took to her Instagram handle to announce the music video for her chart-topping track House Tour.
The thrilling announcement was accompanied by a teaser for the upcoming video, featuring Hollywood actresses Margaret Qualley and Madelyn Cline.
“no joke… house tour video this Monday xo,” Carpenter wrote in the caption.
In the now-viral teaser, the Grammy-winning artist is seen driving a car with Qualley and Cline while listening to a news report.
“And lock your doors, folks, it’s a not-so-pretty evening on Pretty Girl Avenue,” says the announcer.
He continues, “Reports of robbery and theft are sweeping the neighborhood. Suspects have been described as three young women in minimal clothes,” with a description that seems to point directly at Carpenter and her friends.
As the announcer concludes, Cline, sitting in the backseat, asks, “Should we go in the back door?” prompting the Espresso hitmaker and the Maid actress to respond with a firm no.
The line references the song’s lyric: “I just want you to come inside / But never enter through the back door.”
Toward the end of the teaser, Carpenter whispers the opening lyric, “Take your shoes off.”
The post comes weeks after the singer was spotted filming the music video, with viral photos showing her and Cline shooting a pajama party scene and dancing on what appeared to be a bed.
